Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or trying the sport for the first time, Hexham Bowling Club offers a friendly and welcoming bowls community for players of all ages and abilities.
Our greens host regular social and competition bowls throughout the week, providing members and visitors with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the game, stay active, and make new friends.
We also offer Barefoot Bowls which a fun way to celebrate a birthday, special occasion or social get together.
Weekly Bowls
Bowls are played regularly on:

New and visiting bowlers are always welcome to join us.
Hexham Grey's Bowlers
The Hexham Grey’s Bowlers are one of the club’s most active social groups, enjoying weekly bowls in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Games are held on Sunday mornings and are open to members and visiting bowlers.
Whether you’re looking for competitive play or simply a great social outing, the Grey’s provide a fantastic way to enjoy the sport and connect with fellow bowlers.
Competition Bowls
Hexham Bowling Club participates in a range of pennant and competition events throughout the year.

Barefoot Bowls
Looking for a fun group activity? Barefoot Bowls is a great option for birthdays, corporate events, social groups, family gatherings, and casual get-togethers. No experience is required, and our team will help get you started.
